These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Flash Power application (“the App”) developed by Camtraptions Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Use of the App
Flash Power is a tool for calculating flash power settings based on distance measurements. The App is provided for informational purposes and as an aid to photography.
Subscriptions
The App offers an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks flash power calculations and subscription features.
- Free Trial: Eligible new subscribers may receive a free trial. The applicable trial period is shown before purchase. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription renews at the price and frequency shown at checkout.
- Billing: Subscriptions purchased on iOS are processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscriptions purchased on Android are processed by Google through Google Play. The relevant store displays the price, billing period and payment terms before purchase.
- Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the terms displayed by the relevant store. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid a further charge.
- Price: The subscription price is displayed before purchase. Prices may vary by region. Existing subscribers can check their current price and renewal date in the store where they subscribed.
- Managing Subscriptions: Manage or cancel an iOS subscription in your Apple Account’s subscription settings. Manage or cancel an Android subscription in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Subscription payments are processed by the store where the purchase was made. For App Store purchases, use reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play purchases, use the refund options in Google Play or Google’s refund guidance. You can also contact Camtraptions for help with a purchase. Refund eligibility is subject to the relevant store’s policies and applicable law.
Accuracy and Disclaimer
While we strive to provide accurate flash power calculations, results depend on various factors including distance measurement accuracy, flash specifications, and environmental conditions.
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the calculated settings will produce perfect exposure in all situations. The App is intended as a guide, and you should always verify results as needed for your specific use case.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camtraptions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
Intellectual Property
The App and its contents, including but not limited to text, graphics, and code, are owned by Camtraptions Ltd and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
