These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Camera Trap Journal application (“the App”) developed by Camtraptions Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the App

Flash Power is a tool for calculating flash power settings based on distance measurements. The App is provided for informational purposes and as an aid to photography.

Subscriptions

The App offers an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features.

  • Free Trial: New subscribers may be eligible for a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription.
  • Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Price: The subscription price is displayed in the App before purchase. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.
  • Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store.

Refunds

All subscription payments are processed by Apple. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Accuracy and Disclaimer

While we strive to provide accurate flash power calculations, results depend on various factors including distance measurement accuracy, flash specifications, and environmental conditions.

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the calculated settings will produce perfect exposure in all situations. The App is intended as a guide, and you should always verify results as needed for your specific use case.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camtraptions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

Intellectual Property

The App and its contents, including but not limited to text, graphics, and code, are owned by Camtraptions Ltd and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
